Divine Health 3- Tenacity vs Sensitivity and Fragility
Psa 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me
Your “holding power” against the attacks of the devil is vital for victory!   The Bible compares believers to Warriors, Overcomers, More Than Conquerors.   Soldiers and Generals are tough people, they are tenacious against the onslaughts of the enemy.  They hold strong in the front lines of the battle field so the enemy cannot break in!  Your mind is your gate to the rest of your body, so mental strength is vital for health.  The mind is fortified by what you hear, what you believe in.  The bible says we must renew our mind so that we don’t think like the people of the world!  The world is ruled by fear, the kingdom of Jesus Christ is governed by faith.  The Lord says to reason with Him in the Word not against Him.  Reasoning with the Lord in the Word develops mental, emotional, volitional and physical strength.
Pro 18:14 The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain
You have a spiritual immune system that fortifies you against the attacks of the evil one.  Build up that immunity by meditating on and practising the Word; it shall surely protect you!
Choose to be strong not weak, tough not fragile.  Fragility and sensitivity are the carnal attitudes of a dependent and manipulative mind.  It says that I need to be weak, to be needy in order to have my way!  There are those who would rather stay sick in order to have government welfare than to be healed! Trust in the Lord’s protection instead of worrying about the devils’ attacks.  Choose to live by a positive disposition instead of a negative one.  Say with David
Psa 23:4 … I will fear no evil
Choose not to fear problem, sickness and devils.  Imagine and see yourself strong, fierce against the demons; holding forth the Sword of the Spirit defeating them.  Confess the Word over yourself and it will change your weakness into strength supernaturally!
Pro 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he
How you see yourself is vital for success and victory!  See yourself strong, tough, victorious; a victor, a champion, a leader and a winner for the Lord Jesus Christ!  Take a minute to minister to yourself and say:-
I am a victor not a victim!  I am the head not the tail, proactive not passive, triumphant and not victimized!  In Jesus name!  Amen!
