Discernment 2

1 Corinthians 13:1 amp love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such as is inspired by Gods love for and in us)

Jesus has come to demonstrate and impart to us godly living. Heaven has come to earth so we may possess it. My spirit is the most important part of me, and it is reflected in my character in the eyes of men. If you look at the life of Jesus, He meant what He said. His words counted, and His actions were honorable, respected by all men. We must be conformed to the character and thoughts of Jesus, in our thoughts and our actions. The Bible always inspires us to higher living. We are always admonished to forgive, to walk in love, to live a good and holy life, to think good about people, to cultivate a good character, to love our children and to bring them up in righteousness, to serve God and to serve men, not to be self-seeking… God draws the best out of me. Like King David, we know that there is nothing good in us. But praise God- He has not left us all to ourselves. This is discernment. Anything that draws the best out of you is of the Holy Spirit. Anything that causes you to be hasty, selfish, critical is not of God.

Don’t be a passive victim. Rise up in the authority of God and allow not the devil to talk to you. Be like Jesus- rebuke the unclean spirits that they are not allowed to think through our minds or to feel through our emotions. Tell the devil that we are the holy children of God. We are a Holy-Ghost gang, building up one another in the Lord. We need one another. We need to bless others. Be conscious to bless and appreciate the people God puts across our paths and pray for them. On purpose, reach out to your family and those whom you have neglected. Intercede for those who mistreat and misunderstand you. Release the blessings of God upon their lives. On purpose, win souls and reconcile people to God. You must take care of your relationships with people if you want God to bless you and make you successful. Love is intentional, purposeful and devotional.

God bless you!
